1959 Chevrolet Dealer Corvette Promo Yardman Go Cart Orig. Motor Kiddie Kart

This is a 1959 Chevrolet dealer Corvette promotional go cart manufactured by the Yard-Man company.  Chevrolet dealers used these cars as promotional advertising for enticing potential customers to come into the showroom to purchase a new 1959 Chevrolet.  There would be a drawing for the kids Corvette go cart shown here.  These are extremely rare to have survived over 52 years ago.  This one is all original except the windshield, which I made for it, front and rear decals, seat cushion, and trunk latch.  The front has a fiberglas repair that is undetectable.  The hubcaps are 100% original.  The original Tecumseh Lauson 2 1/4 H.P. motor is in excellent running condition!  The motor was recently gone over and had a new rope starter and handle replaced, along with V-belt, new gaskets and oil change.  I’ve been told that the motor is quire rare, especially in this nice condition.  I add stabilizer to the gas tank and run it monthly.  The fiberglas body, I believe, has original paint.  I purchased original 1959 Corvette touch-up paint and it matched great.  There are numerous scratches all over the body but would become a show car if someone wanted to re-paint the body.  I chose to leave it all original, except for touching up the scratches to match the original paint.  Use the zoom feature and enlarge feature to view some of the touched up scratches.  The last photo of the car pointing right was taken before the scratches were touched up so you can get an idea of what the scratches were like before being touched up. The dimensions of the go cart are approximately 72″ long, 28″ wide, and 18″ tall without the windshield.  This item is for PICK-UP ONLY.  Please ask questions before placing a bid and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
