60’s Nomura Japan “Liteowheel” Tin B/O Go Kart, Estate Find Nmib No Reserve

This is another toy that I purchased at an Estate Auction, the seldom seen TN Nomura Go Kart w/ lighted wheels. This 10 inch long toy appears to not have been played with, and is in very good condition. There are a few rubs/paint chips but, no dents or dings, and only a few superficial scratches. The toy is made entirely of tin, except for the 2 piece snap apart wheels, and the driver’s head. The tin litho’s are crisp, shiny and smooth. No rust or corrosion on this toy. I have not tested this particular toy, but am familiar with one problem often affecting these Nomura Go Kart’s. The wire that powers the tiny diode/light bulb in each wheel often disconnects, so the wheels will not light up. It’s an easy fix for anyone handy with a soldering iron, or a cheap fix at a toy repair shop. I sent one out for the exact same issue a while back. All 4 wires needed re-soldering to light up, and I was charged $50.00 for the repairs. The wires on this toy appear intact but, as I mentioned above… have not tested. The battery box on this toy is clean, and comes with the original insert. This toy also comes with it’s original box w/inserts. The box is in very nice condition. There are 2 small water stains, and an indentation on the top portion of the box. Otherwise, nothing is missing or torn. I am selling this classic old toy “as-is” and without a reserve price, so if you are interested in it…
