Up for auction is an old horizontal shaft Briggs and Stratton engine which was used on a mini bike. We removed the engine mainly because  the throttle shaft became loose and stared to raise up in the carb body. The engine generally ran good, but as I recall it began to smoke a little. Thus with such a sorrid past, it is being offered as a parts engine only. The shroud reads the following numbers 80232 00035-01 76012003, is not original, but came an engine of the same general size and vintage. The starter rope is attached, but the recoil does not rewind.  The shaft size is 5/8′ approximately 2 3/4″ long.
