Easy Kart 60Up for auction is an Easy Kart 60 racing go kart designed for kids between 8 – 12 years of age. Easy Karts are spec karts designed for high performance and ease of upkeep. As with all their models, the Easy 60 is a TAG (touch and go) kart which means it has an on-board electric starting and charging system. The chassis is an Italian made Birel  L-28-CX from with hydraulic brakes on the rear axle. The engine is the 60cc IAME Parilla 2-cycle engine with a dry clutch rated at 10 horsepower. We purchased the kart used two years ago for my then 10 year old son, who is now moving up to the Easy 100 kart. Our experience with this kart has been outstanding. My son has found the kart a joy to drive and very fast. These engines are sealed at the factory and the seal is still on this engine which means it is all original, internally. It appears that the clutch and drive gear are also original. The only work we have needed to do to the kart is a rebuild of the brake system, which is working perfectly. As for what the kart will need, while it is ready to run, I would tell a new owner that they will likely want to consider replacing the drive gear before long, as it is worn and may need to consider a new clutch down the road.As you can see from the pictures, this kart is very clean and we have taken great care with the upkeep. The vast majority of my son’s time in the kart has been practice at our local track, although he has raced the kart in two local club races. While I do not know how many hours are on the engine, I would estimate we have put around 15 hours on the package since our purchase. We last ran the kart about a month ago and everything was in good running order. Since that time we have done an extensive cleaning of the unit in preparation for its sale. The condition of the kart is very good, but as with all racing equipment there are a number of scratches, nicks and dings, but nothing out of the ordinary. Also keep in mind that this is used racing equipment and will come with no warranties, but you can trust that my description is fair and accurate.If you are looking for a great first kart for a child between 8 & 12 and don’t want to spend a fortune, you should consider this Easy 60.  Please keep in mind that this in not a “yard kart”, it is designed for high performance & racing and is capable of speed in excess of 40 mph.
