Relisted due to bidder canceling bid in last 45 minutes of last weeks auction …. You know who you are I will be adding more images & a video no later than Tues. April 3 LAST CHANCE to purchase this hard to find Malibu Virage, if it doesn’t sell this week I will be keeping it as I really hate to see it go. 
Definately not a go cart, definately a small race car with its 4 wheel coil over suspension system this is 3/4 size of an Indy car, & YES IT IS A BLAST TO DRIVE

This is a fine example of the Indy style carts that were so popular in the 80’s & 90’s at the Malibu Grand Prix in Malibu, CA
 
VERY RARE to find one of these For sale in any condition, this one is in good condition overall.
 
Powered by a new Electric start Honda 620cc 18 HP V twin, Has about 4 hrs run time on engine.
Will run approx 60 MPH as clocked on my GPS
 
The wheelbase of this Virage cart is 72 inchs & is 57 inches wide, total length from nose to tail is 118 inches. Not sure of the weight but would guess around 600 – 700 lbs.
 
In very good overall condition, frame & suspension components are excellent with no damage, no repairs, & no rust. Tires are like new with plenty of life left in them and NO dryrotting. Front brake calipers were recently rebuilt & pads have plenty of wear left on them, front brakes work excellent. The right rear wheel cylinder started leaking last time I was out riding recently & rear brakes worked great also before slave cylinder leak. I will provide new owner with information to get brake parts, they aren’t hard to locate as they are the same as used on alot to EZ GO golf carts, a new wheel cylinder is about $90.
 
5 point seat belts need to be replaced as they are original & poor condition. Seat upholstery is original and fair condition with 1 tear in back approx 4 inches.
 
These carts were originally equiped with 2 fuel tanks, 1 on each side. Just the left fuel tank is installed now, I do have the right side tank & tranfer tube that will go with it in case new owner wants to reinstall it.
 
In good running condition but as with any motor vehicle you are buying this item as-is with no warranty expressed or implied in anyway, we are disclosing all known problems/issues with item within listing.
 

I have heard of some owners of these Virage carts installing a Kawasaki 440cc aircooled snowmobile engine, they use the same type belt drive clutch setup & I hear it is a fairly easy swap. 
I was planning on this swap when I purchased this a yr or so ago but havn’t gotten around to hunting up a Kawasaki 440.
So here it is as much as I hate to see it go I hope it gets a good home.

If cart can’t be picked up within the 14 days I can provide safe inside storage for an additional $10 per day, cart must be paid for in full before 14 days to take advantage of the on site storage if needed.
