Rosko Tin Toy Vintage Japan Battery Operated Go Kart In The Box

Here is a super nice in the box -batter operated -GO KART –  tin toy , made in Japan by ROSKOS TOYS.. This toy does not seem to work,, tires are suppost to light, and car is suppost to drive forward. .This toy shows no wear and tear, the drivers head is super clean and still soft .  possibly new item  but not in working order..  Box shows age with some damage, inside box is distorted- see photos.
