Included in the box is a roll of approximately 50′ of 1/2”diameter rubber which has coiled wire in it’s interior, so that it can”retread” a wheel and there is a packet of fasteners and instructionson the package for ‘retreading’ your wheels. This kit was designed toretread period pedal cars, doll carriages and other similar toyvehicles. The rubber in now somewhat brittle but it retains visualintegrity. The box also shows aging but has retained a magnificentlook. There are three patent dates: 1904 on the rubber coil, 1911 onthe printing on the box and 1925 on the box. This illustrates howhard rubber tires were restored in a bygone era whether you use it fordisplay or other creative purpose.
