Vintage Kart (Go Cart) Mcculloch Mc91b/1 Engine Stamped Comet #97 Dads Reed

 MCCULLOCH MC91B/1 ENGINE – FROM COMET KART SALES STAMPED COMET #97 & DADS REEDHere’s a real nice MC91B/1 that was blueprinted by Comet Kart Sales!  Probably one of the more desirable / fastest shops during the McCulloch engine time frame!  It’s stamped “COMET #97”.  It’s also stamped “DAD’S REED”.  It has a new Burris piston (0.012″ over).  Piston clearance is set at 0.0055″ (so break it in good).  Ring end gap is about 0.072″.  New crank bearings and seals, needle bearings, rod bolts and gaskets.  Timing set at 27° BTDC.  Pressure tested at 13 PSI for 15 minutes (lost less than 1/4 PSI).  PTO keyway is in great condition!  BDC 14 carburetor gone through.  New duckbill and carburetor diaphragm, fuel pump diaphragm is used (but the best one I had).  Winning bidder has CHOICE of the flywheel screen (shown on engine) OR ONE OF THE THREE STARTER CUPS SHOWN.  Beside the photos above, I have MANY more that I can email if requested!  Just let me know!  This engine is a REAL NICE PIECE!In addition, a virtual twin to this engine is also available.  It’s stamped IDENTICAL EXCEPT it’s COMET #99!!!  That engine has a new 0.005″ over piston!  The only cosmetic difference is that the fin directly below the exhaust port has been completely broken off and the next (2) fins further down have about 1/2 of there fins broken off.  I have MANY photos of that engine also that I can email if requested.  The winning bidder will have the option of purchasing the second engine (COMET #99) for the same winning bid amount.  It also comes with the choice of flywheel screen OR starter cup!  Again – another real nice engine.If you have any questions, please send me a message!THANKS!
