Komet K71 Horstman Piston Valve “HPV” Engine
Here’s a real nice KOMET K71 engine. I believe a Komet K71 and an “HPV” are the same. There is “BCR” engraved on the top corner fin on the cylinder. I’m assuming that this engine was blueprinted. Piston size is 52.55. Ports look stock. There is a corner of the bottom of the liner that has chipped off but I do not think it will affect performance (SEE PHOTOS). This is a real nice piece! Comes with coil, complete motoplat ignition and carb (as shown).
